“Done deal: Atletico Madrid target signs for Celtic.”

Celtic supporters have taken to Twitter reacting to the reports claming Altetico Madrid are planning to send scouts to the Hoops’ Scottish Cup final clash with Motherwell this weekend to have a look at Kieran Tierney performance.

Celtic go into Saturday looking to complete another domestic Treble, having already won the League Cup and the Scottish Premiership. The Hoops are undoubtedly the heavy favourites to claim the trophy at Hampden Park.

The Scottish Sun adds that Manchester United and Tottenham are already admirers of the Β£20 million-rated Scotland international, as are Premier League rivals Bournemouth, and Atleti are weighing up whether to join them in the race.

Interestingly, a number of Celtic fans on social media are completely unconcerned by Atletico’s apparent interest. Tierney is on a long-term contract at Parkhead and it is clear just how much playing for the Hoops means to him.

That has left several Celtic supporters suggesting that they are confident that he would not have his head turned by the prospect of moving to the Spanish side if they were impressed – which, given how consistent he has been, is likely – and decided to make a bid for the Bhoys stalwart during the coming months.
