Forget Salah and Mane – Fans want Liverpool to offer 5ft11 tall star a new deal

According to a report, Liverpool are set to offer new contract deals to Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

The report is according to The Daily Mirror which claimed that Mane is first in line to receive improved terms on his current contract with Liverpool while Salah is also in line for a pay hike

Salah, who joined Liverpool last summer from Roma, has set the Premier League alight with his superb goal scoring form and ability to find himself in the right place at the right time which has led Liverpool to reward the Eqyptian with a new contract.

Mane on the other hand, has gone from strength and strength since he joined the club from Southampton in the summer of 2016.

And in light of his contribution to the club, report has revealed he will be given an improved deal, having totalled 12 goals and seven assists in 28 games from midfield.

However, news of the player proposed offers from the club have left fans wondering why and when Roberto Firmino would be extending his stay at Anfield and feel that the Brazilian star’ input is equally as important as the duo for the club.

Firmino’s contract runs until 2020 – a year before Mane’s – so you would assume that attacker’s future would be first in line to settle.

The 26-year-old Brazilian who stand at 5ft11″ has already nailed 37 appearances for Liverpool this season, scoring 21 goals and 12 assists in that time – it is easy to see why fans are desperate to see Firmino put pen to paper.
