In the hopes of building a stronger squad next season, Manchester United have been up and about scouting for player to possibly sign in the summer. And reports have it that they are currently eyeing up a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic who has recently caught the eyes of Europe.
The Dortmund midfielder has been very outstanding for the German club, and have since then established himself in the first team regulars against the likes of Andre Schurrle and others. Pulisic can also be deployed as a winger and switch left to right wings, and to add to his ranks, he can also be play as defensive midfielder, which he has done in some occasions while playing for the German outfit.
However, United has been linked with a move for the 19-year-old midfielder and are said not to be be the only one monitoring the progress of the midfielder, with the likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham watching the American International as he bagged 50 appearances for the German Outfit.
BVB CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke previously acknowledging the fact that they will be having a clean sweep up in this summer.
Europe are now on high alert about the 19-year-old, but BVB is likely to hold on to their youngster and tie him down with a contract to clear off all rumours over his future.
Pulisic has identified himself as a United fan recently, as he said [via The Independent]:
“Yeah, I was definitely a big fan of United. I’m under contract with Dortmund and I’m not looking around or doing anything like that.
“So I’m very focused there. But yeah, it’s cool to hear all this stuff.
“And, of course, the Premier League is an unbelievable league. You never know in football what can happen but right now I’m focused with Dortmund.”
This will be giving the Red Devils a boost in the possible transfer of the American youngster.
