Premier League giants Manchester United have begun talks for a possible transfer and have advanced talks for Ajax youngster Justin Kluivert.
The youngster, who is allegedly the son of Dutch legend Patrick, has made another impression for Europe club as he scored 5 goals (scoring also a hat-trick) in 16 appearances in the Dutch top flight league.
The 18-year-old has been formerly linked with a move outside the league before as he continues to flourish in top flight, and according to reports, Manchester United are said in the pole position to sign the teenager.
The Manchester club are said to be offering £10 million plus add-ons to the Dutch club for their teenager, but the Dutch outfit will be expected to reject the bid as they could worth the player more than that.
Kluivert, who will be expected to table a request for transfer to the Dutch side, after revealing his intention of playing in the Premier League, while the Red Devils boss, Jose Mourinho, has developed an interest in Kluivert after working with his father at Barcelona when the Reds manager worked there as an Assistant trainer.
Kluivert have said to be sparked interests from all over Europe, with winter transfer window closing weeks ago, The Reds will be expected to have looking at a transfer in the coming summer at the end of the season.
Manchester United squad met with the teenager while playing for the Dutch outfit in the Europa League Final Last Year. After winning the Europa League Final, Mourinho reached out to the Dutch player to console him.
Lately, the winger reveals what Mourinho said to him:
“He just liked to see me. Mourinho knows me from the time that I was a little boy and my father played at Barcelona when Mourinho worked there as an assistant trainer.”
In this last transfer window, Mourinho brought in Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in a swap deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the Emirates, which the only transfer he made in the Winter. In spite of that, Mourinho is looking for reinforcement to strengthen up his team.
