£130,000 per week on table: Chelsea wants to hijack Arsenal’s move for 3-time UCL winner

According to reports, Premier League giants Chelsea have entered the race to sign Real Madrid and Spain international Lucas Vazquez.

Reports according to Spanish news outlet Marco, the Blues are interested in making move for the Spaniard this summer whilst also claiming the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and AC Milan are also in the race to sign the Spain international this summer.

The winger was part of the Spain’s national team that participated in the World Cup, where he made the first-team lineup in their last 16 clash with the hosts on Sunday.

AC Milan have made contact with Real Madrid about a potential deal for Vazquez, but Chelsea could swoop in and seal a deal for the winger.

Vazquez is said to be happy and settled in Madrid, and will not make a decision on his future until after the World Cup.

Real Madrid are eyeing up a move for Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, which Chelsea could use in negotiations for Vazquez if they become serious about a move.

Arsenal on the other hand, are willing to sanction around £130,000 per week for the three-time Champions League winner, but Spanish outlet Marca has claimed that the Merseyside are also “in the race” to sign the winger this summer.
