Premier League giants Arsenal FC are “very close” on the signing of Paris Saint-Germain teenager Yacine Adli, according to reports.
The report is according to Goal.com who reported that the Gunners new head-coach Unai Emery is pushing the deal ahead for the young attacking midfield sensation, who is regarded an high prospect in French football. Adli made his first senior debut under Emery last season when he came in as an half-time sub for just seven minutes against Caen but still show glimpses of his superb performances.
It’s believed he youngster has been persuaded by Emery to join him at Arsenal and rejected the chance to stay with PSG and Goal claim that Arsenal will sign him for a small compensation fee of £223,000.
This will see the player agreeing a three-year contract with the Gunners, with the option to extend his stay for a further two years. Fans have been beaming and happy about this reports and while others have writing and Tweeting about this, some have gone to the extent of making a photoshop of the player in the new Arsenal’s Puma Home-Kit for the 2018/19 season.
Below is the picture of the teenage midfielder in an Arsenal shirt by Puma for the upcoming 2018/19 season:
Adli has played for the trio of French Under-16, U17 and U18 levels, and has scored an impressive 13 goals in 23 matches. Although, Adli doesn’t boast much of first team experience which is something he might find difficult at the Emirates where we have the likes of Mesut Ozil, Granit Xhaka, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey and even Mohamed Elneny.
