Plying his trade with Turkish giants Besiktas, midfielder Gary Medel is reported to be keen on putting an end to his contract with the club with the hopes of returning to England.
With that already being known in the media, Premier League club West Ham United are now willing to rekindle their interest in the Besiktas midfielder with the summer transfrr window yet to be officially opened, which is according to report surging fron Turkish outlet Milliyet.
The 31-year-old midfielder, who has one year experience belt in the Premier League having played for Cardiff City back in 2013, is reported to keen on terminating his current deal with Besiktas this summer due to his unpaid wages.
Medel, in his short spell with Cardiff in 2013, put up an impressive display throughout the season as he quickly became a fan favourite, only to be sold to Serie A giants Inter Milan in the summer following the club’s relegation.
The Hammers and Burnley was first linked Medel during the winter transfer window in January, but the intended move never happened.
The defensive midfielder, who can be deployed at the heart of defense, was reported by 90 minutes back in April to have agreed Personal terms with West Ham.
The Hammers manager is keen on bringing in the Midfielder to the London Stadium as he plans to strengthen his team ahead of the coming season.
Medel has registered a total of 408 appearances in his entire football career scoring 23 goals in the process.
