Premier League clubs Leicester City and Arsenal are set to battle it out as they are both keen on signing Rennes forward Ismaila Sarr, with the duo also determined to strengthen up their team in the summer tra sfer window ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
The 21-year-old forward has been in an impressive form for the Ligue 1 club this season as he finds the back of the net on 12 occasions and further creating 11 assists in all competitions this summer. His outstanding form for the French club has sparked several interest from European giants having helped his side finish in the mid-table in the Ligue 1.
Reports emerging in the media claims that several top clubs have joined Leicester City and Arsenal in the race to sign the in-form winger like Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton, who are all keen on securing the signature of Sarr ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, report coming from Daily Mail claims that Arsenal are currently leading in the race to sign the 21-year-old this coming summer transfer window, with the French club valuing their winger at a price in the region of £25 million.
The Gunners have been stated to be the only club desperate on signing the Sengalese winger with a bid of £45 million said to be on the table, scaring away his links from Stamford, Old Trafford and Goodison Park.
