As talkSPORT reports, Premier League giants Arsenal FC are “moving very fast” to secure the signing of Argentine winger Cristian Pavon this summer.
We understand as per the report, that Arsenal have once submitted a bid in January for the Argentina winger, who currently ply his trade in his homeland with Boca Juniors.
Arsenal, while Arsene Wenger was still in charge, offered the Argentine club a £27million (€30m) for the 22-year-old, who was part of La Albiceleste’s squad at this summer’s World Cup.
And despite no deal being completed for the 1.69m (5ft7in) winger at the moment, the Gunners were known to still have interest in the winger, and new reports suggest an improved bid for his signing is on cards this summer.
And now, reports emanating from Argentine news outlet AS, are report the Gunners new head-coach Unai Emery is very keen on the signing of the winger ahead of the upcoming 2018/19 season, with report of another €30m bid expected to be on cards, being what the winger’s current value in his release clause with Boca.
The Gunners have already made some great signings this summer with moves for Stephan Lichtsteiner, the full-back, goalkeeper Bernd Leno, and centre-half Sokratis Papastathopoulos brought in from Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund respectively already completed and announced ahead of the upcoming season.
