Reports coming form Italy are claiming Premier League club Chelsea are set to make Juventus defender Daniele Rugani their third summer signing in a £36m deal.
As reported by Transfer Market Web via the Daily Express, the tabloids are saying Chelsea are on the verge of completing a deal to sign the Italy international this summer.
It’s also added that the Blues will offer around £36m to secure the signing of the promising Juventus centre-back this summer.
As per the report, Rugani is still unsure whether he should leave Italy to join Chelsea and it’s believed to be the one delaying his transfer from Juventus to Chelsea.
Rugani struggled to hold down a regular starting role at Juventus under Massimiliano Allegri last term despite his glowing reputation.
Maurizio Sarri took over the reins of the west London side from Antonio Conte earlier this previous month after he left Serie A runners up Napoli.
Few hours to his appointment, the Italian gaffer made Jorginho his first summer signing in a £57m deal from Serie A side Napoli last week who they managed to see off competition from Premier League champions Manchester City in Jorginho.
