Chelsea and league rivals Tottenham Hotspur are set to locks for the signing of some players this summer and one of them is Jack Grealish.
The England Under-21 international is set to leave Championship side Aston Villa this summer after they failed to secure promotion to the Premier League last summer and the 22-year-old as reportedly been adviced by ex Blues captain John Terry to make the step up.
Tottenham, however, are leading the race to Grealish’s signing this summer, with Spurs reportedly close to signing him for around £20 million. But with Chelsea turning attention towards the player, the Blues could steal a march on Mauricio Pochettino’s side before the transfer deadline.
Chelsea new head-coach Maurizio Sarri has reportedly told his new side to sanction around £35 million for Grealish signing as the Italian gaffer looks to bring in more depth to his midfield.
Despite this, reports from British outlets are still claiming Tottenham are leading the race for his signature and confidence is very high at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium that they have won the race for his signature.
Grealish has not been talking about his future, but it is believed that he doesn’t have any problems joining any of the two teams.
