According to reports, Arsenal are reportedly considering move for Torino forward, M’Baye Niang as the Gunners head-coach reveals he’s still open for two more signings this summer.
Niang was part of the Senegalese team at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and shone for his country’s team that beat Poland in the tournament.
The Senegalese has once been linked with a move to Arsenal while still at AC Milan, though a deal failed to materialize then with the Gunners. However, it seems Arsenal could be set to submit a bid around £17.5m for the player.
It’s also reported that the likes of Nice, Marseille, Monaco and Everton are also considering move for the midfielder, but with chances of first-team at Arsenal and being part of the European plans, he could swap his current club and other suitors for the Gunners this summer.
Report as reported by Italian news tabloid Tuttomercato via TeamTalk and Sky Sports, revealed that Emery has turned his attention to Niang, whose playing style has been dubbed to that of Liverpool’s Sadio Mane. The Senegalese is a very talented midfielder but chances of plying his trade with a top flight club has been hard to come by.
Available for transfer at nearly £18m, the move for Niang would be a good bargain for Arsenal and would serve a long-term replacement on the likes of Alex Iwobi, Danny Welbeck and Lucas Perez.
