Celtic have been installed favourites ahead of leading contenders to sign Liverpool striker Danny Ings on loan, according to Skybet.
The Liverpool forward, who joined the Anfield club under Brendan Rodgers for £8 million three years ago, has decided to leave Liverpool this summer, as per various sources, prompting a bidding war to be opened on the 26-year-old’s next club.
The likes of Southampton, Newcastle United and Rangers are priced at 11/8, 7/2 and 11/2 respectively in Sky Bet, although the Glasgow giants, having earned more odds of longer than 22/1, as of Tuesday morning – are now right behind them at 6/1.
Although, the Hoops already have the likes of Leigh Griffiths, Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard in their ranks, but should any one of them departs, the rise for a new forward would showcase.
Burnley and Crystal Palace (both 8/1) are the only other clubs occupying odds sorter than 12/1 with Skybet.
Ings, who played for Burnley immediately before Liverpool, has only managed 25 appearances for his current employers due to injury, and has scored or assisted five goals.
