According to Rai Sport, via Italian news outlet Calcio Mercato, it claimed the Blues gaffer has personally contacted Hysaj’s agent over a potential move to Stamford Bridge in January.
Hysaj has severally been linked with Chelsea since Sarri took over from Antonio Conte earlier in the year and it’s believed the former Napoli boss is ready to take this matter into his own hands.
While at Napoli, Hysaj was a favourite starter under Napoli and the player is believed to keen on joining the Blues should they come knocking for him.
Sarri’s actions appear to have angered those at Napoli, with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis unhappy with what many would consider as an underhand tactic.
Hysaj’s agent himself has talked up the move to Stamford Bridge, with the player still yet to commit to a new contract in Italy.
Napoli are keen to keep the player beyond the end of the January window but could look to cash in at the end of the season.
