ALL DONE: Maurizio Sarri to Chelsea in “24 hour” – €200m sanctioned for transfer business

According to the Daily Star, the tabloid is reporting that former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is set to be appointed as Chelsea’s new manager in the next 24 hours and the club’s are set to spend massively before end of the summer transfer window.

Reports coming from Italy are suggesting Sarri is planning to use his contacts in Italy in helping Chelsea sealing top signings this summer.

And, Italian news outlet Corrier dello Sport via the Daily Star, claimed the Premier League giants are set hand Sarri a whooping £176m (€200m) transfer kitty in rebuilding the team this summer.

The Italian outlet claims deals are already in placed for the signing of Roma star Kostas Manolas and Daniele Rugani from Juventus.

It’s believed Manolas will cost Chelsea around £31.7m (€36m) due to a release clause in his contract with Roma while Chelsea are believed to prepared to hand him £4.4m (€5m) per season in wages.

Rugani’s deal with Chelsea, on the other hand, is said to in advanced stage and the club are reportedly willing to sanction around £30.8m (€35m) basic offer to Juventus with bonuses.

In regards to Sarri, it’s believed that the Italian gaffer is set to sign a two-year contract with Chelsea, with an option to extend for a third season, to replace Antonio Conte.
