According to emerging report, Manchester United have been given the green-light to agree a transfer for Marco Verratti after the midfielder was offered to United by his agent Mino Raiola.
As Calcio Mercato reports, they claim Verratti is not happy with life at Parc des Princes after meeting with the Ligue 1 champions new head-coach Thomas Tuchel.
Calcio Mercato adds that the former Borussia Dortmund boss has informed the Italian international, who PSG is said to be valued at $118 million, that his fitness is below acceptable for his new side, ruining his relationship with Verratti as a result.
This has seen Verratti’s future in serious doubt and his agent have given Jose Mourinho the green-light to sign him this summer, even though the Red Devils have just completed the signing of Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk ahead of the World Cup.
With Marouane Fellaini believed to be joining Arsenal this summer coupled with Michael Carrick who looks set to join Mourinho’s backroom staff, the United may have to do all they can to get Verratti to Old Trafford.
