ALMOST DONE: Unai Emery’s shocking 4-2-3-1 potential lineup next season for Arsenal

Arsenal with the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner already have one of the world best defence in club football. We might not get to see the likes Hector Bellerin and Shkodran Mustafi earning a starting role under Unai Emery next season due to poor performances which led to the defence conceding 50 league last goals last season.

With the signings of Lucas Torreira and Sokratis Papastathopoulos still on cards, Emery is assembling a potential title winning team at the Emirates next season.

Fans would like to see the signing of some wingers to serve as backups though but will be very happy on how the Spaniard has gone about finishing the transfers.

It remains to be seen whether Emery trusts Aaron Ramsey as a midfielder after his shocking performance against with the team last season. Ramsey’s career is at stake as he no longer has the pace or the drive to play upfront and his move to midfield has been anything but smooth.

During his time with Paris Saint-Germain, Emery is known to generally prefers disciplined players in both his midfield and his defence and Aaron Ramsey is often out of position. Ramsey hasn’t adapted well to the midfield role as he generally leaves his position leaving his team prone to counters.

Here’s the potential lineup for the upcoming season:

  1. No room for Ramsey and your team is including Wilshire, who is about to leave because of being mugged off by the coin counters of the Arsenal board.
