Arsenal agree transfer for 29-goals Spanish midfielder as first summer transfer

According to an official report from Arsenal, the club have confirmed that the club’s Spanish attacking midfielder Santi Cazorla will be leaving the club this summer.

The former Spain international has registered 180 appearances across all competition with 29-goals for Arsenal before suffering an excruciating injury which kept out of action for almost two months.

Cazorla, however, was full of praise for the Emirates club in an emotional video posted by the player himself.

The little magician words in the video were:

“Hello to the Arsenal fans everywhere, I’m very sad to be leaving after so many great times,”

“I have loved my time with the club and I will always remember the special moments we have had together.

“The FA Cup win in 2014 is something we will never forget. It was a great moment for me and the club.

“I want to say thank you very much because you always give me a special support.

“I am very proud to be part of this club’s history and I want to wish you all the best. And thank you very much again.”

The club have also announced the appointment of former Sevilla manager Unai Emery on a two-year deal at the Emirates Stadium having left Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the 2017-18 season.
