Arsenal and Chelsea set lock horns over “very cheap” €45M-rated World Cup star

Arsenal and Chelsea, according to reports, are set to lock horns over the signing of Colombian and Real Madrid skipper James Rodriguez this summer.

This report is according to Don Balon, who claimed that Gunners have joined the race to sign Rodriguez, and that Rodriguez is eyeing a move to the Premier League this summer.

It’s believed that the Colombian ace is set to cost around £40M (€45M), a very “cheap” price for a player of his fantastic quality.

Although, he is on loan at Bayern Munich on a two-year deal, the star of the 2014 World Cup, has also made a big impact for his nation at the ongoing summer’s tournament in Russia.

James registered two assists in 152 minutes for Colombian at the tournament, helping them finish top of their group, meaning that they will play against England in the round of 16.

James has manged to score eight goals and create 14 assists in 39 appearances for Bayern this season, as he helped the Bundesliga giants secure another consecutive title this season.

There will be a serious battle between Chelsea and Arsenal over the signing of the playmaker this summer should report linking the two club with him bears fruit.
