Arsenal hit with huge injury blow as Mesut Ozil out for three weeks

Arsenal’s and Germany international Mesut Ozil could be set for a lengthy time on the sidelines as he was spotted limping out of dugout at half-time.

The Germany World-Cup winner who set up Shkodran Mustafi’s first half goal for Arsenal was wrongly tackled by Troy Deeney but managed to carry finish the half-time.

He will be a big miss for Arsene Wenger’s side who are looking to make the top-four finish this season.

Ozil has directly contributed in goals for Arsenal this season scoring four goals and seven assist across 22 Premier League appearances this season. Per WhoScored, Ozil has pass success rate of 86.7% than any of his teammates .

It all remains to be seen what the injury update will be by Monday.
