Arsenal keen on signing World Cup finalist as Welbeck replacement

New reports are claiming Premier League club Arsenal F.C. are interested in signing Croatian international Eintracht Frankfurt’s winger Ante Rebic this summer.

As reported by Football London, the Gunners are one of a number of top European teams interested in the services of the winger ahead of next season.

Report have linked with likes of Napoli, Bayern Munich and Manchester United to be interested this summer and are also said to be keen on signing the winger.

The forward impressed for Croatian at the World Cup in Russia earlier this month, attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in the world. He scored an impressive goal for Croatia against Argentina and showed glimpses of top performances against England and France at the final.

Currently plying his trade at the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt, the club German club could be open to welcoming offers for the goalkeeper but there is no mention of how much they would like to sell him this summer.

Croatia finished runners-up in the World Cup after they lost 4-2 to France in their first ever final. Rebic has earned 22 caps for Croatia since breaking into the team in 2013 and has scored only two goals so far.

The winger has the ability to operate anywhere across the frontline, and he mostly line up out wide for Croatia in most matches.
