According to reports from Italian media outlet Corriere del Mezzogiorno, the tabloid has claimed Arsenal are willing to meet with Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.’s £57 million release clause.
It’s also reported that Arsenal are the latest club to join Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in the race to the sign the Napoli midfielder.
Zielinski joined Udinese back in the summer of 2012 after making his way to the top at an international youth tournament. He also registered his Serie A debut in November of the same year he joined Udinese as a late substitute against Cagliari.
Two seasons after joining the Bianconeri Friuliani, he was ship out of the club on loan in 2014 to Empoli where he scored in his debut match. He moved back to Udinese after his loan deal and was sold to Napoli in 2016 for a reported €16 million.
Zielinski made his senior international debut for Poland in 2013 in a friendly match against Liechtenstein. It’s reported that that Poland legend Zbigniew Boniek is a big fan of Zielinski and has compared him to Manchester City ace Kevin De Bruyne.

“I watched him play when he was sixteen and I immediately thought, ‘this is an extraordinary player’.”
“De Bruyne? They are different players, clearly, but equal in the ability to affect a team.
“But, for quality, Piotr is superior to me. I am still waiting for it, but let’s give it a year or two at the most and we will realise it.”
