According to reports, Europa League winner Atletico Madrid are showing keen interest in Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney and hopeful a move will be materialized this summer.
The La Liga giants are expected to send representatives to the Hoops’ Scottish Cup final against Motherwell before deciding whether to make a bid for the defender or not.
Tierney has been a regular mainstay for Celtic team since his breakout scene in 2015 and he has registered nine appearances for Scotland national team.
The Scotland international is tied with Celtic until 2023, having won three Scottish Premiership titles with Celtic.
Tierney, who recently won the PFA Scotland young player of the year award for a third season in a role, also has League Cup and Scottish Cup-winning medals with the reigning champions, who are bidding to win successive domestic trebles when they face Well at Hampden on Saturday.
Diego Simeone’s side are second in La Liga ranking, three points clear of Real Madrid with one gmae to go.
