Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly placed an asking price of £26million Arsenal star target Thomas Meunier, with Manchester United and Chelsea also reported to have joined the race to sign the player.
The Belgian right back has a contract with the French club set to expire in the summer of 2020, with the club not keen on offering him a contract extension rather than making him up for sale in the market.
The Belgium international was given the opportunity to say him mind after asking about the rumours of a possible exit from Parc De Princes and said he is open for a move to the Premier League claiming he want a test for himself.
About his contract with PSG Meunier said: “The discussions with management are hanging around a bit. I can understand because of the deadlines of the team that my personal case was put in the fridge, but since then nothing has happened, the message seems clear enough.
“It would annoy me a little if it ends like that, without having the opportunity to finish beautifully. It’s true, I had a rough season, but a title is still a title and I am very happy. You know, even if I only took part in four or five matches in 2019, my stats, offensive and defensive, are among the best in the PSG defence alongside Bernat’s.”
Since his arrival to the French club in 2016 from Club Brugge, Meunier has registered 99 team appearances for the club and he is not sure waht the future holds for him.
