Spanish giant Barcelona, who have failed to bring in Brazilian Willian from Chelsea in the previous transfer windows, are reported to be keen on signing the winger this coming transfer window.
Willian, who is currently running on a contract with the Blues which is set to expire at the end of next season, might just be on his way out of the Stamford Bridge this summer. With the Blues only reported to be extending his stay with team with just a year having clocked past 30 years, and signing for Barcelona could get him more than a year contract in a big contract.
The Stamford Bridge outfit are still waiting on FIFA to overturn their two-transfer window ban following their appeal two months ago.
The Catalans would be ending their two-summer pursuit of Willian should Chelsea appeal fail. Barcelona are willing to see out Malcom in the summer having spent just one season with the club in order to clear the path for Willian to come in and manager Ernesto Valverde is said to be willing to swap Malcome for Blues winger this summer.
Malcom has only been able to register 12 La Liga appearances for the Catalonians this 2018/19 campaign with just three of them being as a starter.
Willian, on the other hand, has been able to afford 31 Premier League appearances for Chelsea this campaign having netted 3 goals and creating six assists.
