Premier League giants Chelsea, who are keen on signing Napoli’s and Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibay, have been told they would need to pay as high as £80m to sign the centre-back this summer.
As reported by the Daily Mirror, Napoli are said to have placed a mouth-watering valuation on the Senegalese.
Napoli are believed reluctant sell any of their star player to Chelsea this summer having already prized the club to the signing of Maurizio Sarri and Jorginho this summer.
But in such a scenario whereby Koulibaly has got to leave the club, Napoli are requesting a massive initial fee for the defender, plus add-ons which could be close to nine figures.
Chelsea are on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and build a strong team capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
The Blues finished fifth on the Premier League table last season missing out on the Champions League football for next season but managed to beat Manchester United to the FA Cup title.
Chelsea in other news, are also said to be eyeing move for midfield reinforcement which could see them hijacking Arsenal’s move to the signing of Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi this summer who has been tipped with exit from the La Liga club this summer.
