According to reports surfacing the media, Tottenham full-back Kieran Trippier has been reported to have tabled a transfer request to the club and wants a move to Manchester United.
Trippier, who was very formidable for England in their 2018 World Cup campaign in Russia, has not been happy with life at the White Hart Lane and wants to leave the club as the summer transfer window approaches.
Trippier is not the only Spurs’ player linked with a move away from the club as Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld have all been linked with a potential move away from the club and head coach Mauricio Pochettino should be prepared for what would seem to be a tough summer.
Reports claims that Serie A giant Napoli have also been heavily linked with the England International and have tabled an offer for the 28-year-old full back with the hope on signing him this summer.
Gianluca Di Marzio is however reporting that Napoli have tabled an offer in the region of €18-20 million (£15-17m) which was immediately rejected by the English club, who wants nothing less than €35m (£30m) for the full back.
The report further claims that the English man appreciates the interest from Napoli, but he wants a move to United should the Red Devils table an offer.
The 28-year-old would very much prefer to see out the rest of his professional career in Manchester, where the English man was rumoured to have been born.
