Having hit a block road in convincing star Ander Herrera to sign a contract extension, Manchester have reportedly been given a boost.
The Spain international is reported to only have two months left in his contract with the Reds, with both parties nowhere near to agreeing a deal on the player’s wages.
Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, who has been strongly linked with the player for a while, have reported tabled an offer to the star but recent reports claims that the French club are now uncertain about signing the player.
Report which further claims that club Sporting director Antero Henrique is furious that a deal for the Spanish midfielder has not been finalised.
PSG is said to be keen on signing Herrera on a free transfer, has they won’t be paying any transfer fee which will help satisfy their FFP rules, thus making it a priority.
