Arsenal manager Unai Emery is reportedy open to selling Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan this coming transfer window alonside other three players, according to reports.
Having spent the whole 2018/19 campaign with his team, Emery has decided that his first team players are not up to par.
German footballer Mesut Ozil has been given quite the criticism this season for not being consistent enough, and his compatriots Shkodran Mustafi also reported to be in the list having cost the team all season with silly mistakes.
The report claims that Arsenal are looking to part ways with Ozil, Mkhitaryan, Mustafi, Carl Jenkinson, Mohamed Elneny this summer and are looking for a potential suitor for the players.
Ex-German international Ozil and Armenian Mkhitaryan are the higest earner in the list of players Emery will be selling in the summer as he looks to make funds available for his potential targets.
Armenia international currently takes home £180,000 every week, while Ozil is the highest earner in the Arsenal squad as he earns £350, 000 in a week.
With that being known, defender Mustafi, who has made the headline news all season for the wrong reasons, continued with his incosistency this season making several mistakes that have hindered their top four hopes in the Premier League.
Mustafi have failed to put up an impressive all season performance for the Gunners since his move from La Liga back in 2016, and Emery only needs a consistent centre-back.
Also in the list are Egyptian Elneny and right-back Jenkinson barely made an appearance for the Gunners as the midfielder was able to bag 16 appearances while right-back could only register 8 in all competitions.
Arsenal will be returning to action for their final Premier League match on Sunday against Burnley having missed out on the top four.
The North London club will be hoping to defeat rivals Chelsea in the Europa League final in Baku and gain a spot in the Champions League group stage next season.
