Reports coming from Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, English clubs West Ham United and Leicester City will battle for the signature of AS Roma ace Stephan El Shaarawy in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old winger’s is currently running down his contract with the Italian club which is set to expire at the end of next campaign, but Roma is reported to be confident on tying the Italian winger to a new contract and extend his stay with them amids links from England.
El Shaarawy, who have only been able to manage 19 League starts and 5 substitute apps in the Serie A, has been able to bag 10 goals and further creating 3 assists in the process, which is quite a numeber of goals for a player who does not get much starts in the League.
The Hammers are yet to be reported to make an offer for the 26-year-old attacker but will battle against rivals Leicester City to lead the race to sign the him ahead of a potential summer transfer move.
El Shaarawy should be able to adapt well to life in the Premier League with his goalscoring prowess and his ability to create chances.
