The Gunners in the market for a possible replacement for Aaron Ramsey who is poised to face the exit door at the Emirates come end of the season when his contract expires.
It looks the Gunners’ are already eyeing potential replacements for the Welshman as the Sun are citing a report from this week’s edition of French magazine France Football that claims the Gunners are showing strong interest in the midfielder.
In the print magazine [there is no online version to link to], France Football, via the Sun, says Emery knows all about Aouar from his time in France managing Paris Saint-Germain and is a big fan of the versatile midfielder.
Aouar is skilled at playing as a deep-lying midfielder to be used in a more attacking role and he’s been hugely impressive so far this current season with five goals and four assists in 21 appearances to his name for Lyon.
However, the Gunners are not the only interested side eyeing move for the player as the tabloid also claims Liverpool have been alerted to his potential while it’s believed Pep Guardiola is also a fan of the player after praising his performance against his side in the Champions League this season.
