Celtic fans react to Craig Gordon’s performance against Dundee

Celtic fans on social media have praised the performance of goalkeeper Craig Gordon for his brilliant save in Celtic’s match against Dundee, which ended a goalless 0-0 draw.

Gordon, who was making his first comeback since suffering a knee injury in January, was far busier than many would have expected and showed a superb early save from Simon Murray early in the first-half.

The Scot also did well to help his defending partners Jack Hendry and Dedryck Boyata who failed to take down Dundee’s long-ball tactics.

The goalkeeper was making his 200th appearance across all competition for Celtic, and this superb performance against Dundee has given Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers an assurances for safety between the sticks for the rest of the season.

Rodgers will have to decide if keeping Gordon worth it for the foreseeable future, or to bring loanee Scott Bain back into the team.

Bain, who has proved to be a better option since joining the club from Dundee, was ineligible to play for the Bhoys against his parent club, which lead to Gordon’s unexpected return.

With a massive Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers on the way, Rodgers will have to get the decision about who the No. 1 will be, and Gordon has proved himself once more with a fine performance against Dundee.

Here are some of the best reactions to the 35-year-old’s performance for the Hoops:
