Celtic have been installed favourites ahead of leading contenders to sign Liverpool striker Danny Ings, according to Skybet.
The Liverpool forward, who joined the Anfield club under Brendan Rodgers for £8 million three years ago, has decided to leave Liverpool this summer, as per various sources, prompting a bidding war to be opened on the 26-year-old’s next club.
The likes of Southampton, Newcastle United and Ranger are priced at 11/8, 7/2 and 11/2 respectively in Sky Bet, although the Glasgow giants, having earned more odds of longer than 22/1, as of Tuesday morning – are now right behind them at 6/1.
Although, the Hoops already have the likes of Leigh Griffiths, Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard in their ranks, but should any one of them departs, the rise for a new forward would showcase.
Burnley and Crystal Palace (both 8/1) are the only other clubs occupying odds sorter than 12/1 with Skybet.
Ings, who played for Burnley immediately before Liverpool, has only managed 25 appearances for his current employers due to injury, and has scored or assisted five goals.
