Celtic have been handed a huge injury boost and will step up his return from injury when he plays against Partick Thistle tomorrow in the Development League at Cappielow, kick off 6pm.
The on loan Manchester City winger last played on November 29 at Motherwell but only lasted 11 minutes when he pulled up with a hamstring injury.
Part of Roberts was carried out at Manchester City but after a recent check up with the English side, Patrick has been given the green light to return to action.
If Roberts comes through tomorrow’s match without any set-back then he is likely to make his first team return in the Scottish Cup tie at home to Morton on March 3.
With Jonny Hayes and Mikey Johnson ruled out for the remainder of the season through injury, the return of Roberts is a timely boost for Brendan Rodgers.
