According to reports, Celtic are reportedly in advanced talks with Australian international Tom Rogic representatives’ over a new deal with the club as they look to tie him down for the next 3-4 years.
Tom has a year left to run on his current deal with many report claiming that if the Aussie forward doesn’t re-sign by the end of the August window, then Celtic will cash in on their player.
However, Brendan Rodgers is desperate to tie him down to a new deal and since talks have stalled since a month ago, report suggest that talks have been going well over his future with the club.
Talks over a new deal takes lengthen time but the club are being very active in this regard and we should expect a reply before the turn of the window.
Rogic, a fan-favourite who delivers in crunch match for Celtic now has 30 goals in 130 appearances across all competition.
Rodgers is also said to be keen on tying Dedryk Boyata up on a new deal but the Belgium international doesn’t look to commit his future with the club. Boyata’s recently spoke about his intention of wanting to play in the Premier League soon.
