Ex-Scottish top flight star Tam McManus believes that Scottish champions Celtic are now looking to sell striker Moussa Dembele, who head he thinks has been turned due to on-going transfer speculations.
The France under-21 international has been regularly overlooked recently by the Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers and it was claimed in December that Celtic had agreed a fee to sell him to Premier League side Brighton, a report which was later denied by the Scottish giants.
Despite the club denying those reports, the striker has continued to be linked with leaving Celtic and McManus thinks Celtic are considering to offload him.
The former Scottish top flight wrote on his Twitter account:
“Celtic IMO very keen to sell Dembele now.”
“His performance in the Rangers game and subsequent indulgence/petulance getting a shower during game should have set off alarm bells for every Celtic fan watching it.”
Tam McManus added:
“Head has been turned for me and best for everyone now if moves on.”
Dembele has netted eight goals in 21 appearances this season for Celtic, in a marked decline to his performances in the previous season; last season the ex-Fulham striker scored 32 goals across 29 games.
