Premier League giants Chelsea FC are reportedly lining up move for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial this summer as they believe the Frenchman can replace Eden Hazard who’s primed to leave Chelsea this transfer window.
Martial, who seems to have fallen down the pecking order at Man United, is said to be on the lookout for regular playing time this season, and according to his agent, the Frenchman is ready to leave Man United.
Juventus, however, were thought to be interested in signing him this summer, but their recent record-breaking acquisition of Cristiano Ronaldo has left the Martial transfer in limbo for now.
It has been suggested Chelsea are set to offer around €100 million for the signing of Martial this summer, a fee they are apparently unwilling to pay at this moment.
Aside signing Martial as Hazard replacement, the Blues may also lose another attacking player this window, with Brazilian winger Willian said to be in talks with La Liga giants FC Barcelona over a potential move this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
However, Chelsea new head-coach Maurizio Sarri, believes the signing of Martial can cover either Hazard or Willian’s departure, but I think Martial will need time to adapt to playing in Sarri’s attacking environment unlike Man United park the bus style of play.
As it stands, it’s not really clear whether Hazard has finally completed move to Real Madrid or not but reports claims the winger is currently in Spain for his holiday.
There have been series of pictures showing the Belgium international in Real Madrid’s kit this summer but one which catches the eyes are the one below done with the Los Blancos new unveil shirt for the upcoming 2018/19 season and more convincing is font in which Hazard’s name is written on shirt which seems the club have finally signed their target this summer.
Do you think Hazard will leave the English club in this window? Have your say in the comments section below.
