Premier League giants Chelsea have reportedly open talks to sign AS Roma and Greece international Kostas Monalos this summer in a £33m deal this summer, according to reports coming from Italy.
The report is according to Italian journalist, who the Daily Star claimed the Blues are keen to secure the signing of the Greek defender as they are lining up a team capable of winning the Premier League title next season as well as competing in the Champions League.
The same report adds that Manolas has been a long-term admirer for Chelsea and they could end up securing his signing this summer.
