Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard is heavily linked with a move to join the Real Madrid next year. The Los Blancos, however, could find it difficult to pull the attacker out of the Bridge.
It has been a tussle at the top of the Blues hierarchy in a bid to convince the Belgian to stay with them. The Belgian international is pivotal to Chelsea. He’s has been their spine in the attacking third this campaign and losing him to Real Madrid is a dodgy bit, a troubling water the Blues are scared of sailing on.
And Sky Sports Dharmesh Sheth thinks it will be a hard job for Los Blancos to tempt him out of Chelsea and join them in January.
“I can’t see Chelsea selling Hazard in January,” says Sheth, who remarked that the 27-year-old is one of the big talents at the club that’s helped underpinned them.
Hazard transfer to Madrid has been making plenty of noise, and “unless Real Madrid were to come in with a ridiculous outlandish offer, I cannot see Chelsea releasing him.” Says Sheth.
Chelsea is offering to make Eden Hazard the highest paid player in the club’s history, as claimed by Sheth, and Maurizio Sarri is very particular about having the Belgian for the remainder of his stint as the Blues boss.
“Eden is very important for us,” said Sarri, “I want Eden here, of course, but I want him here if he wants to stay here.”
