According to reports, Chelsea are set to make a huge €70m offer for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker in the coming days.
The report is according to Italian website Football Italia, that claims the Premier League club are set to raise their bid for the Brazilian goalkeeper, after they saw their opening bid of €60m offer rejected for the goalkeeper this summer.
The goalkeeper is currently with Brazil at Russia for the on-going World Cup competition, where he is expected to start in their last 16 clash against Mexico on Monday.
The Blues are still in the market for a new goalkeeper, with No. 1 first-choice between the sticks Thiabut Courtoise keen on quitting the club and sign for Real Madrid.
Should Chelsea fail in their pursuit of the goalkeeper, AC Milan goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma is also believed to be a target for the club, but Alisson is number one of their wishlist at the moment.
However, the report adds that the Serie A club value Alisson at €80m and are likely to reject this latest offer from Chelsea.
And it’s being speculated that with the goalkeeper having his eyes set on a move to Real Madrid, he could reject Chelsea’s approach and make his dream move to Madrid this summer.
