Chelsea star in £35m double deal

Chelsea are set to enter a busy six weeks until the end of the summer transfer window, with the Blues’ activity in the market was poor due to the crisis surrounding their managerial position.

However, a solution to the mess looks to be on cards though and their summer deals are right around the corner, though they may have to fend off a number of rival clubs in the transfer market in order to make sure to get their target signings this summer.

According to The Telegraph, the British newspaper claim Newcastle United are keen on signing Chelsea’s Kenedy, who starred at St. James’ Park during the second-half of last season, and the Magpies boss Rafael Benitez wants to bring him as a part of a £35m double-deal alongside Red Bull Salzburg playmaker Valon Berisha.

Chelsea, however, are yet to decide whether to stick or twist with 22-year-old Brazil ace Kenedy, who is keen on first-team football, and any final decision is likely to come down to who is appointed for the forthcoming campaign.
