Club ‘confirm interest in securing permanent Scott Bain switch’

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has reportedly confirmed plans to make a permanent bid for Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain at the end of the season.

Bain is on loan at Celtic from the Dee but, according to Sky Sports News, Celtic will make him an offer when his contract expires this summer.

Bain, 26, who has kept two clean sheets for Celtic in three Scottish Premiership matches this season, has also attracted interest from Hearts and Hibernian.

Meanwhile, there are reports that English clubs Wolves, Birmingham City and Stoke City are reportedly keen on signing the goalkeeper.

Celtic have the chance to make their lead at the to 16 points clear of the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday evening when they play Hamilton.
