The Noth London club have been reported to have emerged the leader in the race to sign Sampdoria ace and Torreira former teammate Dennis Praet ahead of a summer move having place him as their number one target for the summer, with Nicolo Barella being their second.

Welshman Aaron Ramsey’s departure from the club in June to Italian giant Juventus will be leaving a huge void in Unai Emery’s team in summer, prompting the club to scout all of Europe for a potential replacement and have come across Serie A duo as their next possible signing.

Reports coming from the Mirror claims that the Gunners watched Barella last months as Cagliari was defeated in a 2-0 loss to League leaders Juventus. And the scouts were reported to be happy for their potential £43m-rated mnidfielder’s performance in the match.
