Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has come up in the public to claim that he is happy at the Emirates Stadium wants it to remain that way for next season.
The ex-German international, who still has two years remaining in his contract with the English club, has been linked with a move away from the club recently. With club manager Unai Emery also revealing Earlier how happy the German midfielder is listening to him about being more consistent for his team.
Sky Sports held an exclusive interview with the German playmaker, who claims that he his happy at Arsenal, also claims that his future at Emirates is all down to the club.
When asked if he want to stay with the club, Ozil said: “Absolutely. I’ve got two more years on my contract. I don’t know after that but I’ve got two years left.
Asked if he was happy with the club, he continues: “Yes. Why not? I’m 30 now, still got years in front of me, it’s down to the club as well of course, but I’ve got two years here – after that I don’t know what happens.”
The 30-year-old midfielder confirmed that he had no issues with Emery or his squad selection ways admitting its frustrating not play in every game for the club.
“No [issues with Emery]. Definitely not. There’s always speculation, everyone inside knew that our situation is positive.”
