CONFIRMED: Chelsea willing to BEAT Man Utd to the signing of Star – fans will be happy

Reports has it that Chelsea have also joined Manchester United in the race to sign Real Madrid creative midfielder James Rodriguez this summer, with the Spanish club willing to sell the playmaker.

The Columbian international, who has been with Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich since 2017 on a loan deal, will be returning to the Spanish giant on June 15.

Reports also claim that club manager Zinedine Zidane is not willing to bring in the Columbian star back to his team for next season, and will be openjng the door for the player to leave having slapped £36 million on his head.

Bundesliga giants Bahern Munich will be blocked once from signing the playmaker until his return to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, which will be giving Chelsea and Manchester United a big, chance in moving for the player in the summer, this is according to Spanish outlet Marca.

Should both English club be ready to pay up Madrid requesting fee for Rodriguez, the player will be hand-picking the club he wants, which is most likely to be a club with Champions League group stage spot with the Blues having secured a spot in the European competition.

Despite that, the West London club has been impressive this season as they finish third in the Premier League despite their rough campaign this season and will be looking to win the Europa League as they will be facing off rival Arsenal on Wednesday May 29 for the final.

The Blues will be parting ways with their superstar Eden Hazard, who is all set to leave the club this summer for Real Madrid, and the arrival of James Rodriguez and Christian Pulisic to the club will very much likely fill the void left by the Belgian attacker.

Reports coming from France claims that a deal for the Belgium International has already been agreed and the club will be announcing the deal after the Europa League final against Arsenal.
