According to report from Racingdealma, Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester City will be fighting for the signing of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.
Having been given a limited amount of game time, Lautaro has bagged nine goals and provided two assist in all competitions for the Italian club which resulted in his call up for the Argentina national team.
With Inter’s striker Mauro Icardi continuous link out of the club and his situation, Lautaro might just be climbing up to the first team of the club but offers from Europe could see him change his mind.
Reports from Racingdealma claims that Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea afe both desperate to interested in the signature of the forward, claiming one of the team has already table a formal offer to sign him.
With Chelsea still battling for an appeal with FIFA on their two-window transfer ban it is highly unlikely it would be them to make the proposal, while City on the other hand can do so having signed a player before the opening of the transfer window.
Inter Milan have been reported to have slapped an asking price of €60 million on the forward for which interested clubs should be willing to pay before a deal could be made with the Italian club.
Chelsea is currently in desperate need of a striker with Gonzalo Higuain and Olivier Giroud stirring out of form. But could Lautaro be the best option for the Blues.
