According to reports emerging in the media which claims that Peemier League giant Chelsea have tagged Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho to be the best replacement for Eden Hazard, who’s heavily linked with a big money move to Real Madrid.
Chelsea have been reported to allow Hazard move to Real Madrid in the summer but will be selling the playing nothing less than €100m so as to earn from the transfer. Should their appeal to raise the transfer be raised by FIFA, the Blues will be looking to use the money to seal a replacement said to be Coutinho.
The Brazilian attacker, who move to Barcelona from Liverpool, has been struggling for consistency at Camp Nou with the Catalans willing to listen to offers for him during the summer transfer window. Rumour is Manchester United are desperate to bring in the player to Old Trafford.
Reports claims that Chelsea are confident they will be winning the signature of Coutinho ahead of rival Manchester United, with an appeal already in place to overturn FIFA’s decision. Sports cited similarities in Chelsea ban with when Barcelona was given a transfer ban in 2016, as the Spanish club’s appeal to raise transfer ban also delayed, if the same is to happen it means Chelsea fans should rejoice as they will be signing Coutinho this summer and other player they want to, with terms said to have been agreed for the Brazilian attacker.
