According to reports, Chelsea head-coach Maurizio Sarri is reportedly considering the chances of signing AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain in a swap agreement involving Alvaro Morata.
Chelsea are widely speculated to sign a new marksman at the turn of the year and Chelsea boss seems to have shown interest in Higuain as his prime target after missing out during the summer.
As reported by Sky Sports, Chelsea are prepared to offload Morata to AC Milan next month, should they agreed to sanction Higuain’s sale in a straight swap deal.
Still, the move may have complications with the Rossoneri only signing Higuain on a two-year loan from Juventus and they would have to agree a permanent deal with the Bianconeri first before discussing terms with the Blues.
Higuain has previously played under Maurizio Sarri during their time together at Napoli during the 2015/16 season where he scored a career-best tally of 38 goals across all competitions.
