Turkish outlet A Spor is reporting that Turkish giants Besiktas are reportedly preparing an offer for England’s and Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge this summer.
The Super Lig outfit, who ended fourth in the Turkish top-flight last season, have been linked with a £10m bid for the out of favour Liverpool striker ahead of the upcoming 2018-19 season.
Sturridge has registered 26 international caps for England, netting three goals and providing three assists in just 14 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool last season.
Sturridge was shipped out on loan in January, where he failed to make progress. He was only able to registered six appearances for the relegated team for the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
He has netted 64 goals in 133 games for Liverpool in all competitions since he joined the club from Chelsea in January 2013 following his reported £12m switch.
Having fall out of Liverpool’s favour, the centre-forward has emerged as a top transfer target for the Turkish club this summer, with the club planning a £10m offer for the England international, despite initially being interested in a potential loan deal.
Although, it’s believed the Reds have slapped a £15m fee on Sturridge and his current deal with the Premier League runs until June 2019.
