The latest rounding up in the media is agent of Ligue 1 star Tanguy Ndombele had revealed his desire to have his client play as a Manchester United player ahead of a potential summer move.
Plying his trade with Ligue 1 club Lyon, who are willing to let the France international leave the club this summer to wherever he wishes.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has been impressive for his French club this season, form has seen him heavily linked with several European clubs with Champions League finalists Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur keen on signing the midfielder this summer.
Speaking to Tuttosport, Ndombele’s agent Yvan le Mee said: “Ndombele is an important midfielder, he has technical and physical qualities. He is not always consistent, but he gives the best of himself in big games.
“I imagine him at Manchester United because he’s a bit like (Paul) Pogba and a bit like Yaya Toure. Ndombele could replace Pogba who, I think, wants to leave the Red Devils.”
With Liverpool and Tottenham now in the race, United could be facing a stiff competition for Tanguy Ndombele.
